SAT Private Tutoring in Hanoi (Vietnam)
Are you a Hanoi-based student seeking to obtain the highest possible score on the SAT? If you are searching for the most effective and comprehensive SAT preparation resources, look no further than the standardized test prep experts at Manhattan Review. When it comes to learning challenging academic information, many students study perfectly well in classroom-style group settings, finding important benefits from interacting with peers and seeing their learning improved by others' questions and comments. Other students, however, know that they do not perform at their best in a group setting. They worry about not grasping information as fast as other students and fear that they will hold the group back. Alternatively, these students may feel frustrated when they have mastered a particular concept but cannot move forward until the rest of the group is able to demonstrate similar mastery. If you find trying to learn test-related information in a group more distracting than helpful and know you retain concepts best through one-on-one instruction, consider working with one of the experienced private tutors at Manhattan Review.

Meet a Hanoi SAT Tutor: Irena T.
Irena T. was born in Columbia but moved to Washington, DC, with her family as a teen. Irena had dreamed of becoming a professional illustrator and graphic designer since she was young. She worked very hard during high school, developing an impressive art portfolio in addition to chairing various committees and serving as vice president of the student council. Her hard work, combined with a very high SAT score, earned Irena a place at Syracuse University, where she chose to major in graphic design. Irena worked in the college's learning center for four semesters, helping others master topics that came easily to her, and she was surprised to discover how much she enjoyed supporting others' learning.
After graduating from Syracuse, Irena remained in New York, where she taught art classes at a local high school and college while also working as a freelance artist. Irena went on to obtain a master's degree in education from the State University of New York, and when her former college roommate accepted a job in Hanoi, she invited Irena to move with her. Irena was excited to enjoy a new adventure, and after relocating, she obtained a position teaching art in an after-school program. She also joined the team at Manhattan Review, and students rave about her helpful memorization techniques, as well as her time management skills. When she isn't helping the next generation of college students master the SAT, Irena can be found shopping at her favorite market and learning to cook Vietnamese food.
